I take a holistic approach to counseling, empowering clients to focus on their strengths, and helping them identify the barriers keeping them from positive goals and healthy decisions. The client and I work together to develop coping skills specific to their needs; skills which can guide them through difficult times. Using evidenced based techniques, I help the client know and understand themselves better as it relates to unhealthy behaviors and guide them as they work through their challenges. I maintain my own life balance by practicing yoga, and I cultivate an ongoing interest in nutrition.
