I have worked as a therapist for a number of years in different settings - as a clinical supervisor for master's level therapists, as the owner of my own private practice, working in school settings, and in the child welfare community. I am very good at connecting with people where they are in their journey and helping them from there. I would have to call myself more eclectic, which means I draw from different modalities of therapy when needed by the client. So when we try one thing and it does not help, or the client is not receptive, we try something else. I have spent time on my own emotional and spiritual journey and feel experienced enough to help others in their journey. I have worked with young children all the way up to retired individuals. I also enjoy couples and groups because I do well in understanding group dynamics. LGBTQ experiences are also part of my experiences, especially for women or men coming out later in life. I look forward to assisting others in their journeys, whatever they may be.
