My name is Christine Adams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I received a Bachelor of Psychology from Liberty University in 2008, and I received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University in 2013. I also received a Post-Master’s certificate in Health Psychology from Northcentral University (now National University). One primary area of focus that I am excited to offer is that of Christian Counseling. I am a certified cognitive trauma professional with experience working in grief and trauma. As a veteran of the US Armed Forces, I can empathize with and understand the toll that military life can take on families. Additionally, I have provided services to paramedics, fire fighters, and law enforcement officers. I have worked with individuals and children from ages 8 through 90 but primarily now work with adults 18 and up.
