About
From as early as her teenage years, Christina recognized the importance of mental wellbeing. It was this recognition that drove her to qualify as a therapist. Christina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has more than 10 years’ experience empowering others to reach their goals. Christina’s eclectic and holistic approach to therapy makes it easy for her clients to open up to her. Everyone is unique which means she does not use a ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy. Instead, she uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Psychodynamic techniques to help empower her clients. Seeing people achieve and live healthier, happy lives is extremely important and rewarding for Christina. Every person Christina sees professionally benefits from the compassionate, comfortable, nonjudgmental environment she creates. She deeply believes it is vital to develop quality relationships with clients so she can help them make lasting changes in their lives. Everyone has strengths. Her goal in therapy is to tap into those strengths to help people make lasting changes to improve their quality of life. Working with adolescents and adults facing all types of mental health challenges, Christina’s experience spans all areas. These include anxiety, depression, relational and attachment issues, trauma, work and school stress, grief and loss, and many others. Christina is highly educated, so her clients benefit from her knowledge. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and her Master of Social Work from Fordham University in New York. Christina also has a certificate in School Social Work and Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy. Working with people from all walks of life, she previously worked in schools, non-profit organizations, residential treatment facilities as well as private practice. Christina is passionate about her health and wellbeing, traveling and exploring, her family and her dog.
