With over 20 years of supporting motivated individuals and couples find practical solutions that stick, I have developed an effective approach that works for most, but not all. My clients have described it as no-BS, action-oriented, goal-focused, works if you want to see measurable results, be prepared to apply skills between sessions and KITA (Kick In The A**). My approach is based in solution-focused, brief therapy and cognitive/behavioral therapies and facts based in neuroscience, not theory or guesswork. And humor, that's just as important. Who says therapy can't be fun?

I believe in "teaching people to fish" and not creating a long-term dependent relationship with my clients. We roll up our sleeves at each session and discuss "what worked, what didn't, what's next?" I believe real lasting change, sustainable change, happens as a result of taking action, not just awareness of "why" you feel the way you do.
