I know it can be difficult finding someone who will understand your voice, I am here to support those with in my community, in finding that safe place! It is my belief that obtaining stable mental health is an important key to a successful life. My role as a mental health counselor is that of a guide to help others find a sense of purpose and peace in their lives. I have spent over 20 years working in the field of Social service and 13 of those years as a Mental Health Counselor serving children and adults with mental health issues.
I employ a client centered approach combined with utilizing the client's strengths, Cognitive Behavioral and Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy along with other modalities to treat children, families and individuals.
Working with young adults as well as teens starting around the age of 16 years of age is a passion of mine however, I also have experience working with diverse age groups and populations as well as different socio- economic backgrounds with children and adults serving those with severe mental health problems.
