Cheryl Williams is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is the owner of My Abundant Life Now Counseling Service based out of Long Beach, California. She focuses her practice in helping individuals, couples and families rebuild their lives, in addition to helping victims of suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety and other diagnosis. Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development from Kaplan University, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology/Marriage, and Family Therapy from Argosy University. She uses various evidence-based approaches, skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, mindfulness, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, positive therapy, and biblical counseling. She walks her clients through the gardens of their lives, helps them identify any unwanted weeds, and uproot them, so that they can regain their voice. She enjoys working with adults, couples, and families to resolve their issues through a client centered approach offering empathy and a non-judgmental environment to support them in establishing their goals so that they can identify and develop their inner strengths.
