About

I am a family and marriage therapist licensed in California with over 20 years of experience working as a mental health therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, low confidence, self-harming behaviors, addictions and parenting problems. I also helped many people who experienced some form of trauma, including first responders, victims of crime, victims of natural disasters, and emotional abuse. I have worked with a wide range of ages; from toddlers to the elderly. I have worked with individuals, families and couples.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach uses a foundation of psychoanalytical and combines cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectic behavioral, (DBT), psycho-dynamic and trauma-focused strategies. I am trained and certified to use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is proven as an excellent therapeutic approach to trauma. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
