You can’t change what’s happened in the past, but you can change your future. I am a Christian therapist who specializes in therapy with adults and parents of children under 12. I have practiced for more than 25 years in a variety of settings and am experienced in trauma-focused therapy. My goal is to work together with you to better understand and resolve the issues causing you distress. We will use a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive-based therapy interventions to look at negative perceptions and behavior patterns that are impeding positive relationships and more fulfilling life. Parents, if you are struggling with a child’s difficult or disruptive behavior, you are likely feeling very frustrated and helpless. Research has shown that teaching parents specific behavioral interventions are the most effective way to change a child’s behavior, as you can use them as behaviors are occurring. I love giving parents the tools they need to turn things around and help them enjoy their children again. Interventions are tailored to your specific household.
