Many of us have a critical inner voice that tells us we are not good enough. I’m familiar with the ongoing process it takes to transform that inner critic into one of self-compassion, resilience and positive self-regard. I see you as a whole person, a vibrant being with many dimensions.
My approaches to therapy are through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and strengths-based. I nurture a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can grow by developing insight and changing your past and current patterns that inhibit your growth.
Change is not easy and habits are difficult to break, however it is absolutely possible. I will work collaboratively with you so you can envision and create change in your life.
I have 20 years of experience with children through older adults in various settings: mobile and community-based at schools and homes as well as clinics. I have worked with people experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and ADHD/ADD.
