I am a licensed professional therapist, licensed in the state of Tennessee. I have provided counseling in community mental health, academic and medical settings. I have worked with diverse clients facing phase of life challenges, anxiety, depression, divorce, relationship issues, parent and child conflict, trauma and grief. No matter the setting or the client my goal is to listen, meet you where you are, understand your goals and provide support on your journey.
I believe your past shapes the present but does not have to define your future. I use an integrative approach, combining complementary aspects of of different theories to tailor a treatment plan specific to you and your needs. I draw from solution focused brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy and existential therapy.
