I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia proudly serving in the field for almost 10 years. I have experience working as a counselor/therapist in the community and for agencies with children, adults, older adults, and families. I have assisted others with issues related to domestic violence, mental illnesses (i.e. Mood and Anxiety Disorders), grief, adjustment issues, trauma, abuse/neglect, parent-child conflict, anger management, relationship issues, conflict resolution, substance abuse, aging, and crisis intervention (i.e. suicide/homicide, psychosis).

A professional of many hats my preference is to take an eclectic approach in therapy, which means that I employ elements from a variety of therapeutic techniques with the goal of establishing a course that is personally tailored to fit the person. At the same time, I strongly support the foundation of a model called Cognitive Behavioral theory, which is based on the idea that what people think and how they perceive situations/events influence their emotions and behaviors. If we can start from the top and change our thinking the rest will follow!

During our time together I will help you fill the gap between where you are, & where you want to be by providing tools to identify inner conflict, manage external factors, confront challenges, & develop coping skills.
