Chelsie Silveira been been practicing clinical social work for over 10 years and has worked with people from all different backgrounds and all walks of life; some who are ready to make a change and some who are just trying to get through the day. She has worked with children, teens and younger to older adults. While she has worked with a range of individuals with regard to age and background, she specializes in working with children from elementary school to young adults and she also works with parents in supporting them in the parenting role. Often when children/teens are not willing or ready to participate in treatment, working with parents is the next best option and significant results can come from working with parents alone. Some of the issues we are often addressing in counseling include anxiety, depression, adoption issues, oppositional behaviors and even life transitions such as a significant change in the home.
