About
Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Chelsi and I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of Oregon. This journey of exploring mental health struggles is hard, and I want to acknowledge you for being here and for exploring this first step. As a therapist I feel that the first step in exploring through our struggles is to just reach out and ask for support, so this is where we start.
I have been working as a therapist for over 3 years, graduating from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Since I graduated, I have worked in a Wilderness therapy program, residential treatment program, and an outpatient mental health and addictions program. I specialize in trauma related struggles, relationship issues, addiction, and anxiety across the board. I am a warm and inviting therapist, advocating for you to feel connected and heard within our sessions. Although I have an extensive background in attachment based therapeutic approaches, trauma informed care, CBT/DBT, and much more, I tailer my approach to best fit you and your struggles. This means I work in collaboration with you to explore the best way to work as a team to process through the hardest parts of life.
Ultimately, I want the best for you and I am a down to earth, supportive, and empathetic human that wants to encourage you to heal the hardest parts of yourself. This starts in relationship with others, and this starts in therapy. I believe that we all want relief from hurt and pain, and this is the first step to finding that relief. I look forward to meeting you and working through life's challenges together.
