My ideal client is a client who struggles with anxiety, relationship issues, and family trauma. They'll learn to identify triggers, use healthier coping skills, and improve their overall mood. They will learn to communicate more assertively and openly to meet their needs. They also want to process past trauma and understand why and how it still affects them today. I can help by digging deeper to reprocess past trauma through EMDR. I'll also discuss various coping/grounding skills that can be helpful (i.e., meditation, journaling, practicing mindfulness). I can also help identify specific maladaptive thinking patterns and help clients to learn and use more adaptive coping skills (challenging negative thinking patterns. I understand that you have been through a lot and are seeking support. I want to start by seeing your main goal, and I want you to know that everything is confidential.
