Hello! My name is Chelsea Price, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas. I specialize in developing relationships with clients battling stress, anxiety, issues in relationships, career trouble, and trouble with identity. My approach to therapy is behavioral, primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Our time in therapy involves addressing thoughts, behavior, and other patterns impacting the client while establishing solutions to meet the client's goals. I work with individuals to support them in making positive decisions and leading a fulfilling life. I frequently work with high school and college students to address stress, anxiety, and life changes. I am an experienced career counselor with familiarity with current standards for career success for entry-level and experienced professionals. Clients working with me feel supported. They can anticipate a direct yet comforting communication style, with light-hearted, relatable conversations when appropriate. My work as a therapist began as I sought a solution to better support the students I served as a professional in higher education and future clients in other settings. I pursued this career to improve the availability of mental health professionals in a world with an ever-growing need for emotional well-being advocacy.
