About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in Virginia and North Carolina with over 8 years of experience working in the mental health field and serving various populations. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, parenting problems, career challenges, ODD, ADHD and conduct disorders. I have also helped many people who have experienced emotional and/or physical abuse.

My counseling style is welcoming and interactive. I believe in treating each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, existential counseling, motivational interviewing and also Solution Focused. I will work towards ensuring that your individual treatment plan is made to meet your unique and specific needs and also work as a team to build on skills that will minimize and alleviate concerning mental health symptoms.
