I am licensed in Washington with 29 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, & intimacy related issues. I also have experience working with depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

I work from a brief solution focused treatment model with the goal of reaching solutions to concerns in a brief amount of time and then people work with and experience that solution and find out if it works for them or not. Treatment may include homework such as relaxation exercises, walking or working on communication styles and skills within an important relationship. If a solution is not found, then we explore other solutions. For other concerns related to trauma, I work using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Cognitive Processing Therapy is a model of treatment to address experiences causing symptoms consistent with PTSD. It was developed for work with military personnel who have experienced trauma related to combat. The CPT program is an intensive 12-week treatment program used to address a traumatic event.
