I counsel adult individuals and couples who are struggling with relationships, anxiety, depression, and sex addiction through the use of ACT, restoration therapy, and attachment theory. I tailor my approach to what is best for each client. I m a long time student of the Enneagram and I use that knowledge to help my clients in their pursuit of personal and spiritual transformation. I believe every person is made in the image of God and my warmth and kindness and genuine concern help clients feel immediately safe with me. Ive known all my life that I wanted to help people who are in pain or confused by relationships. Ive always been one of those people others seem to gravitate to when they âre having a difficult time in life. I became an LPC in midlife after a few other stops along the way, including working as a pastor and a retail store manager. I even drove a garbage truck for several years. I have trained in restoration therapy and I studied under Dr. Larry Crabb, whose teaching and writing helped me understand both the depths of my brokenness and Gods deep love for me. I counsel several times a year at a mens sex addiction intensive, and I love helping individuals and couples find hope and deep joy.
