Hi, my name is Charity, and I'm a licensed professional counselor. We seek counseling because we have been in pain – usually for a while. After trying to ignore or numb the pain, some of us may say to ourselves, “This is not working. I need help,” which are both brave and scary statements to make. My desire is to provide a safe place for people to explore their pain and find their own unique strengths and solutions for healing. I'm a second-career therapist who decided to enter this profession to help people like I have been helped.
