It becomes hard to manage how you feel and how you sometimes respond. Crying easily, worrying and feeling alone, angry, overwhelmed and sad are all common signs of depression and anxiety. I am here to support you and help you through such a challenging time. I will assist you with learning how to respond appropriately to triggers to overcome feeling low, empty, and ashamed. I will incorporate biblical/Christian principles, if requested. What is your approach to therapy? I have extensive knowledge in working with minority populations. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you're able to openly explore your issues/concerns. Using a collaborative approach, we then identify the necessary steps to move forward. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I will purpose to be empathetic to your experiences and concerns. We will address the impact of trauma on the brain, central nervous system and how it affects mood and behaviors. I will assist you in identifying and developing the right coping skills to heal and take control of your life again. Brainspotting is also an option with treatment.
