Hi, I'm Chandra Freeman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Dallas, TX. I have a few years of experience working with children, families, and individual adults with co-occurring disorders. Every sphere of our lives is centered around relationships: family, dynamics, co-workers, romantic relationships, and friendships. I believe we have the power to learn healthy tools to enrich our relationships with others and especially ourselves. My hope is for my clients to find their inner trust and voice needed for guidance and navigating relationships. Self-compassion, motivation, change, and healing is obtainable if we commit to showing up for ourselves. I have worked with clients healing from trauma, managing anxiety and depression, crisis intervention, shame, additions, mending relationships, and esteem building. I use Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior techniques, as well as Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focus Therapy. My understanding of the human experience is greatly informed by theories of human development, Person In Environment theory and Faith. Let's all learn and heal together! Thank you
