I am licensed in Michigan with 5 years of professional work experience; 4 years of educational field training. I have experience working in CPS/Foster Care, Substance Abuse Counseling, School Social Work, Medicaid population, Medication-Assisted programs and being an Outpatient Therapist for clients ranging from 4 to 60 years old. Areas of interest include: psychotherapy with adolescents, teens and young to mid aged adults; trauma, mood disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, grief, family conflict, LGBTQ+, codependency and stress related to life transitions. My objective as a therapist is to create a safe (non-clinical/judgmental or cold feeling), supportive therapeutic environment to aid my clients in their healing process and reach set goals. I feel that therapy works best when it is non-traditional, creative, and collaborative. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
