About

The struggles that life brings are not always expected and many times we have lived with them longer than we ever intended. Everyday stresses can feel that much more difficult when paired with depression, anxiety, or trauma. No matter what you are going through, that struggle does not have to be endless.

I use evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, to help individuals and couples reach their goal in seeking wellness personally, professionally, or relationally. You can expect an accepting, warm, and encouraging environment to foster the best atmosphere for your own growth, healing, and achievement of your personal goals.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Roanoke College and completed my Master’s degree in Counseling from Liberty University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and a Nationally Certified Counselor. My professional background includes practicing at a community mental health facility, private mental health agencies, and serving as an Associate Director at the counseling center of a higher educational institution.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends. I have a passion for people and hospitality, which fuels my excitement for cooking, dancing, singing, playing drums, board and video gaming, all things mental health, and social activism.
