Hi, My name is Cat and I believe YOU are the greatest tool in counseling for achieving the goals you wish to accomplish. Whether you are 10 years old or 30 years old, I am here to collaborate with you in order to help you make the most positive changes for your life. For those of you between the ages of 10-17, I believe in taking a whole family approach and getting moms, dads, and any guardians involved with the child or teenager’s treatment goals. For my adult clients, I put YOU in the driver’s seat towards change and I want to take that journey with you. I use a variety of approaches in my work and I especially love incorporating creative and expressive elements with talk therapy. I typically do this through sand tray therapy, which allows you a more tactile and visual way to process emotions, thoughts, and difficult situations that may be hard to put into words. I also frequently help my clients develop practices of self-compassion and mindfulness to help them heal and find healthy ways to set boundaries.
