About

I truly respect your decision to seek therapy at this time. Facing our issues and difficulties head-on is how they get resolved or healed. I know the right fit between client and therapist is imperative. My approach is to treat you with absolute, unconditional positive regard and respect. I have been a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Therapist for over 25 years in Southern California where I see clients with a wide range of relational or interpersonal issues. My style is proactive, engaging, empathic and effective. Some typical issues I see are intimacy and couple's issues, parenting dynamics, grief, anxiety, depression, finding purpose, and childhood issues. I often suggest things you can do or read in-between sessions to propel your inner work if you are open to that.

I am open-minded and huge-hearted and understand people have their own paths and make their own life choices. Whatever you are looking to tend to and address will never be judged by me in the least, and together we can find solutions for living your most joy-filled life. I trust very much in the healing work therapy can provide and it brings me a lot of joy to help people heal the hurt places in their life.

My therapeutic style is humanistic, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and integrative (also called "holistic") psychotherapy, which means we could bring attention to other parts of your life to find ways to best support your whole self, including your physical, emotional, spiritual and mental lives as well. The approach I use with you will be guided by what feels right in the session and not limited to one-style-fits-all. I see the goal as tending to what you came in to address and giving you tools for that while having you coming home to your most authentic and empowered self! Therefore, my approach will be dictated by what best helps get you there!

I'd be happy to work with you when you feel ready to take that first step! I look forward to meeting you online and seeing how to support you.
