Hello! My name is Cassandra "Cassie" Castillo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose goal is to create a space where you can feel heard and validated. I use a person-centered approach that looks at you as a whole person. I believe healing starts first and foremost with yourself. Using collaboration within the therapeutic relationship, my approach helps to guide you to becoming more aware of the best version that you can be. This provider resides in Hawaii. My approach My person-centered approach puts you at the forefront of each session, allowing you to be the expert in your own life. With my guidance, I may also introduce additional approaches such as using a strengths-based perspective, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. My focus If you are struggling with any life transitions (moving, relationships, going to college, etc.) and feeling stuck and unsure of what to do next, you are not alone. I work with clients who are feeling the uncertainties of life and the wave of emotions that come with it. I also work with clients who are struggling with self-esteem and work with building their own confidence back and understanding where these feelings are coming from. My communication style My goal is to create a space where each session you can be heard and validated. I use active listening throughout my sessions and can offer guidance when needed. Within each therapeutic interaction, you are at the forefront of the session and are able to guide our collaboration in the direction that best serves you.
