About
Mental health challenges can impact people in various areas of life, making it difficult to get through day-to-day tasks. It may cause difficulties in your workplace, school, relationships, or how you feel about yourself. It can limit your functioning, making you feel lost, alone, and purposeless. Please know that you are not alone! Sometimes, your efforts alone are insufficient to help you feel like your most authentic self. Partnering with a therapist to begin treatment can help you identify issues, learn new coping skills, strengthen existing skills, and assist you in achieving goals to lead a more fulfilling life. Therapy is an investment in yourself, helping you to heal, grow, and most of all, thrive. My goal as a therapist is to provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment to heal. As we explore your strengths and issues that impact your life’s quality, we will build on those strengths and develop coping skills so that you may begin your journey towards healing, growth, and fulfillment. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, non-judgmental, and strengths-based incorporating CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. I have more than ten years of clinical experience providing mental health services in various settings, including adult inpatient psychiatric hospitals and community-based outpatient clinics serving children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. I firmly believe that the client-therapist relationship is the number one intervention a clinician can provide. I am dedicated to partnering with you through this healing journey and look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
