About

Congratulations on taking the first step in finding solutions to life's challenges. Seeking support is a huge strength, which takes bravery, you are not alone.
My name is Carrington Singmaster, I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I worked in a residential treatment center in Tucson, AZ assisting clients with Co-Occurring Disorders. Throughout my time accruing my hours for licensure I worked in the Ojai Unified School District as a psychotherapist assisting children K-12. In addition to currently having a private practice, I work for a nonprofit that employs the methodology called Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, where I incorporate horses into the therapeutic intervention. I am a certified member of Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).
My most important consideration is cultivating a safe space for vulnerability and authenticity. I aim to create a collaborative space that fosters positive change to ultimately transition new skills, insight and behaviors out in to your every day life. I work with a broad range of clients including but not limited to: military personal and their families transitioning back in to civilian life, to incarcerated youth grappling with drug addition, violence and instability.
I am a solution oriented therapist, therefore I believe that transformation requires willingness, and action. I can help by assisting in identifying what is not working, and shift into alternative solutions to optimize life experiences.
