Hi there, I am Carrie. Let me ask you a few questions: Do you feel like you have to be strong and keep it all together, even though it feels like the ground is crumbling beneath your feet? Does it often seem like everyone is clinging to you like a life raft and you can feel yourself going under? Is your life a tornado and everything is spinning around you; you are barely hanging on and you can feel yourself losing your grip and being sucked away? Are you at some sort of crossroads and just don't know which way to go? You may be struggling with some form of addiction, self-sabotage, self-harm, shame/guilt, co-dependency, the trauma of past abuse, or you may currently be in an abusive situation. Do you find yourself asking ""Why does this keep happening to me""? You know something has to change, but you just don’t know how to make it happen. I can help. I specialize in working with people who grew up in families where there was some type of instability or turmoil. This could have been from addiction, mental health, abuse, neglect, anger, poverty, foster care placement or anything that caused some form of trauma. Oftentimes times those who grew up in those situations feel responsible for it or that somehow they should have fixed it.
