Hi there! Welcome to a new kind of counseling experience. I am very interested in being your online therapist through any multitude of issues you would like to improve. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, as well as a National Certified Counselor and Distance Certified Counselor, through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have been working in the counseling field since 2004 in various roles and positions. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectial Behavioral Therapy, but work with a humanistic psychodynamic approach. I work with clients in a very needs oriented way. The most experience I have is with trauma and psychiatric illnesses. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, day treatment, outpatient mental health centers, home based therapy, as a military life counselor, addiction and recovery centers, and most recently private practice in another country. I have done incredible work with culturally diverse clients due to working outside of the US. My foundation is in strengths based work and resiliency, believing that as we all go through experiences we will learn, grow and change no matter how great or small.
