Hi! I'm Carrie Gibbs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut and a graduate of Fairfield University with a Masters of Art in Community Counseling . I am also a Certified School Counselor and have a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership. Those closest to me know me as an ardent wife and mother, a rescuer of dogs, and love staying active. I am equal parts extroverted as I am introverted. While I enjoy day trips, sporting events, and being on the go, my ideal day off is spending it at home with my family.

I have 22 years of professional experience working with individuals in their teens through older adults. My approach to counseling is integrative. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. In my tenure, I’ve enjoyed helping individuals take on challenges and learn from them whether it is caused by anxiety, relationships, stress, lack of motivation, low confidence, or career difficulties. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
