My name is Carolyn Redmond, and I received my Master in Social Work at the University at Buffalo and my Clinical Licensed in 2018. I have worked as a therapist since 2012. Working with individuals, 19 to 76 years old, who have a history of alcohol and substance misuse, as well as individuals with a dual diagnosis, complex trauma, self esteem and personality issues. I have worked with individuals of all walks of life who struggle with negative self-talk, low self-esteem, mood instability, substance use, challenging irrational beliefs, anxiety, history of trauma, and identity development. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus, Motivational Interviewing in my practice, with a Trauma Informed focus within my practice.
