About

My name is Carolyn Durham. I am a licensed professional counselor with over 12 years experience. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University where I received my bachelor of science degree and social work certification. I then completed my graduate work at The University of Houston, Clear Lake where I earned my Master of Science degree in Counseling, and shortly thereafter, my professional counseling license.

I have worked with a variety of clients over my career who have included individuals and families coping with change, anxiety, and depression. I have worked in the medical field for over 10 of those years and have counseled people struggling with acute and chronic medical illnesses such as cancer, stroke, transplant and more.
I also have experience teaching in the public schools and college level. I understand the challenges these environments pose for both students and parents.

I believe my approach to counseling is to provide you with a safe and empathic environment which allows us, together, to explore areas of concern. I I look forward to working with individuals who are experiencing difficulty with any of these issues.
