About

I am a caring Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having 15 years of work in counseling with those experiencing mental health and life challenges. I work within a strength based perspective, encouraging and building healthy coping and stress reduction skills to relieve distress.  I create an environment where growth is promoted, using principles of genuineness, acceptance and caring for self in relationship with others and supporting empathic understanding. I believe people can achieve deep and lasting change when given the tools that support their strengths and abilities. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Forgiveness Therapy, to facilitate and encourage lasting changes. I offer Christian counseling to help guide those who desire exploration and healing of mind, soul and spirit.
