Hello!
Welcome to the Find A Therapist community! My name is Caroline Corrigan and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Addiction Counselor practicing in Massachusetts. I have been providing psychotherapy for many years. I graduated from Boston University with a Masters in Social Work. I have worked as a community based medical social worker for a local hospital and an inpatient and outpatient psychotherapist in a dual diagnosis treatment facility.

I would describe my approach as goal oriented, client centered and psychodynamic. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Both modalities are hands-on, practical approaches to problem-solving. CBT treatment usually involves efforts to change thinking patterns and behaviors.

Life is a journey that sometimes requires the assistance of a therapist to navigate. I believe that everyone can overcome obstacles come their way. Therapy is the process of gaining tools to manage the difficulties in our lives.
