I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and have extensive training in multicultural counseling. I am both a researcher and a clinician, which means I am constantly analyzing new techniques and approaches to provide the best treatment for you. I’ve provided services, in English and Spanish, to children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family sessions at various settings. Through this work I learned to adapt evidence-based treatments to diverse populations by fitting them into the context of their reality (e.g., social injustice and institutional disadvantages). I apply what I’ve learned, and continue to learn in the field, to real life examples that are both relatable and directly applicable to each circumstance. I do this because I know that your situation is unique; I will work with you to better understand your situation and guide you to identify and build upon your personal strengths.
