I am a clinical social worker licensed in North Carolina with over 20 years of experience working as a clinical mental health therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and many people who have experienced physical and sexual trauma, as well as emotional abuse.

The heart of my work is the compassionate and authentic approach I've developed over many years, helping people to find peace of mind and compassion for themselves and others, one day at a time. If you've experienced the trauma of abandonment or abuse, grief or loss, I can guide your path of recovery with understanding, care and healing. I can help you to find more emotional stability in your relationships and your life. In my practice I see individual adults, couples, young adults and the family as a whole. My approach is practical, collaborative, and strengths-based and my specialties are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR the Gottman Method to couples counseling, I truly enjoy teaching skills and techniques that provide personal empowerment and control over one's own life experiences. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
