About
Carol Chase, LMHC doing therapy for 9 years. I have had varied experience such as working with homeless addicted men, doing IOP groups in a large mental health agency, working in private practice and doing telehealth since COVID as well as with Military OneSource with veterans and their families.
I graduated from Valparaiso University some many years ago and was a career high school teacher; I also spent 3 years in Sante Fe, NM becoming a massage therapist and working at a world famous spa there. Then later in life graduated from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies in 2013. My life experience and my varied education has allowed me to relate to many personalities and problems.
My passion for my life’s work is helping clients meet their goals for change in work, mental health, self esteem and self love, codependency, and relationships. I have a specialty in addiction studies and have a personal story that allows me to relate to addicts and alcoholics.
My therapeutic approach is client centered and client driven so that my specialties in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Mindulness,12 Step Facilitation make for a toolbox that is individualized and effective.
My hours are later in the day and into the evening, usually 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. being my latest session on Monday through Thursday. I alao work Sunday evening. And will make accomodations for urgent sessions.
