About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified Telemental Health Provider in Alaska. I earned both my Bachelor and Master Degree in social work, with a mental health focus. I have been working in the social work field for 20 years. For the past 12 years, I have been providing individual, family, and group counseling in a wide variety of settings with a wide range of ages and population groups.

My experience has taught me that one of the most important aspects of counseling is the connection and comfort you feel with the person you choose to share your personal struggles. I really enjoy helping people reach their goals and become the best version of themselves. My theoretical orientation is person-centered and I use an integrated approach that draws upon a variety of techniques best suited to help you. Most clients describe me as kind, approachable, genuine, non-judgmental, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and helpful.
