Hi there, I'm Carol! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in California and Arizona. I specialize in childhood trauma, family relationships, and life stressors. My approach is client-centered. I believe everyone has personal strengths they can use to overcome any obstacles. I will collaborate with you to identify those strengths and help guide you to live a fulfilling life. My approach I use the humanistic approach of therapy to meet you where you are in life. I will not judge you, I will only support you and help lead you to live the life you want. My focus I have extensive experience working with adults who are working through their own childhood traumas. My communication style As a humanistic therapist, I will listen to you and support you. My journey to mental healthcare I have a long history of supporting others. I was encouraged by peers to seek a position in the helping profession. I love working with others and helping them through their personal traumas. My goals for you Goals will be established early in therapy. We will work first on the desired goal that leads you to therapy. Once we work on that solution-focused goal, we will work on the underlying issues that lead you to needing therapy. My first session with you During the first session, you can expect some information gathering to determine the history of the presenting problem. There will also be information gathering to help identify who you are as a person and who is in your support network.
