My ideal client struggles with depression, anxiety, and personal stressors such as life transitions and grief. Your needs are to explore your thoughts and feelings to become more self-aware. Your ideal goal would be to return to normal functioning or better. Your plans are individualized, and you're open to sharing current or past thoughts, feelings and emotions around concerns bringing them into therapy. You would want to engage in healthy coping skills to be able to help manage symptoms for current concerns and for further concerns to improve overall well-being when possible stressors arise. I feel I can help with my compassionate and down-to-earth approaches while utilizing CBT, MI, and person-centered therapies. I strive to make patients feel comfortable while sharing what is bringing them to treatment. My goal is to listen and engage with clients with the goal of understanding how they may be feeling or what they are having difficulty with. In return, provide therapy on that understanding and healthy coping skills, stress management, and interventions for present and future concerns.
