I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a doctoral degree in counseling psychology. I have been licensed for seventeen years. My theoretical orientation is CBT; however, I also use some humanistic theory in therapy. I work primarily with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma.

It is important for you to feel completely comfortable with the person you choose for therapy. If you can't share and be transparent, it can hinder your growth and limit your ability to really address the issues that bring you to therapy.

I have been teaching domestic violence/anger management classes for thirteen years, utilizing the Stop Domestic Violence Program curriculum from Dr. Wexler of the Relationship Training Institute. I am certified as a domestic violence facilitator, approved by the Riverside County Probation Department. My classes are held twice weekly, and they are two hours long.

I prefer a holistic style to treatment and encourage a healthy lifestyle as part of your treatment plan because physical health is also important for mental health.
