Greetings!

Who am I?

My name is Carl Puleo (pronounced "puh-lay-oh"). I am a licensed professional clinical counselor, a certified specialist in anger management, and a certified telemental health provider. I am excited to meet you and to join you in your quest to seek help.
I have been a mental health therapist for five years now, but I have been in the mental health field in various capacities for over twenty years.

What do I offer?

I believe it is important to know what to expect when clients come to see me. Let me start off by saying that I am not your typical run-of-the-mill counselor. I come with a shed full of tools ready to help you work to build the kind of life you are looking to create.

What can you expect?

You can expect to have assistance and encouragement as I allow you to be the expert of your own experiences since you are the owner/operator of your life. Think of me as a home repairman for someone who wants to do a Do-It-Yourself project. I'll bring all the tools and equipment you need and I will help you utilize them to complete the renovations you want to create. And hopefully, you will create a life worth living.

I am here to serve you as an educator/coach/counselor/and partner. Together we can plan, create and develop strategies to make improvements in your life.

I promise to be committed to you for as long as you need me. I will respond to your messages within 24 hours Monday through Friday between 8am and 7pm CST. I try to provide times for live sessions on Monday through Thursday between 8am and 5pm CST. If you do not find an available time that works for you please don't hesitate to reach out to message me about your availability.
