About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 10 years of experience. I enjoy working with children, teens and adults. I have had the privilege of working with family and couples as well. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including, anxiety, trauma, abuse, depression, parenting problems, bereavement, relationship conflict, Autism, ADHD, anger issues.

My counseling approach involves providing a safe, supportive, warm and encouraging environment. I believe in treating everyone with respect, kindness and empathy. I believe my role as a therapist is to meet you where you are and guide you to where you want to be, by demonstrating understanding, patience and unconditional positive regard.

My theoretical orientation includes solution focused brief therapy and the person-centered approach. However, I combine cognitive behavioral therapy, and exposure therapy when needed. I use an integrated approach when creating a treatment plan to address each person as a whole.

Going through difficulties can be tremendously isolating & lonely and why individuals share each other's challenges. Life has a tendency of creating difficult situations, but together, we can be successful. Together we can ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE!!
