I'm a licensed mental health counselor with more than 10 years' experience helping people overcome challenges in their life. I graduated with honors from Webster University and began my career in social work assisting the homeless and impoverished families rebuild their lives. I am open-minded and take a person-centered approach to helping others achieve their goals. I believe people are capable of solving their own problems with a little guidance and support. I provide a non-judgmental relaxed environment that encompasses opportunity for personal growth. You are in control of your therapy experience and can go at your own pace. Any movement forward is progress! It is important to me that my clients feel validated and safe when dealing with their problems. I am Level II trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which has been shown to be effective in treating borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am also trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy, CBT, and trauma informed care. I enjoy working with young adults ages 20-40.
