As a Licensed Profession Counselor I have a passion for working with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate life and helping them to identify and develop lasting skills that will follow them into adulthood. Life can be difficult and sometimes simply having someone to listen, really listen can be instrumental in navigating through those trying times.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches based on what works best for the individual I am working with and what there therapeutic and life goals are.
I have worked with at risk adolescents helping them to develop social skills, coping skills, helped them develop plans for their future and work through the traumas of their past. This experience has help me to develop my own unique therapeutic approach. I have worked with the Juvenile Justice system for 4 years and through this work have developed skills that help with resistance, difficult family situations and helping clients build skills that can be used in real world applications.
