My specialty is in working with adult clients who are looking to discuss a variety of issues related to general life stress and/or relationships. I completed my Masters in Counseling in 2002 at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and have been running my own practice since 2017. I lean towards being solution-oriented, and having a resilient and proactive mindset.

My strengths are in using a person-centered supportive approach. I tend to use counseling interventions that include CBT, body-based relaxation techniques, and mindfulness. I may also integrate some attachment-based therapy, which reflects on your childhood upbringing to see if there are any rooted patterns, insecurities, or beliefs that have been problematic for you as an adult.

Depending on what you need at the time of therapy, I can provide an objective and professional viewpoint, as well as a place for you to feel heard and understood. We can also work together towards creating a treatment plan that pertains specifically to you, which includes interventions and recommendations that could help you feel better over time. I like to empower and validate my clients in addition to discussing making some life changes depending on the issues presented.

If you'd like to work with me, I prefer to use the 'messaging/writing feature' or we can schedule 1 live video session per week. I respond to clients during EST hours between 10am and 8pm. My turn around time for accepting a new client or responding to written messages is up to 24 hours (sometimes much faster depending on the time of day).
