About

I am a clinical social worker licensed in the state of Washington and Michigan. I have 8 years of experience working with mental health and substance use disorders. I have extensive experience working with adults and geriatric individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses. My clients also have concerns of depression, anxiety, PTSD, racial conflicts, acute stress, relationship conflicts, academic concerns, and more.

My therapeutic style is warm but assertive. I believe that everyone knows how they want their lives to work but may not always have the right tools in their toolbox. That is where I come in. I love to walk alongside my clients and help them come to their own conclusions rather than me telling them "what to do." My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focus, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I will tailor our dialog and your treatment plan to best meet your unique and specific needs.

Now more than ever our mental health is just as important, if not more, than our physical health. We must take our time to make sure that it is getting just as much attention as we place on our physical well-being. I am eager to work with you and help you with whatever life has thrown at you, and together we can make things better.
