Camilla received her Bachelor's in Social Work from Western Illinois University, completed her Master's in Social Work at Aurora University, and recently earned her LCSW. She has worked extensively in a multitude of settings including mental health facilities, nursing homes, and homeless shelters. Camilla has an interest in working with children, and experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship concerns, low self-esteem and chronic mental illness. Camilla uses Mindfulness-based treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Self-talk, and Strengths based approaches as her treatment approaches. Camilla is compassionate, non-judgmental, and an empathic listener. She believes in personal growth and a collaborative therapeutic relationship to create treatment plans to assist clients in achieving their goals.
